SIGUE EL MALTRATO! A menos de un mes del informe de la junta médica que negó la partida del oso Arturo a Canadá, el día de ayer se pudo constatar que sigue abandonado a su suerte, padeciendo el maltrato y la indiferencia dañina del director del zoológico y los políticos que no cumplieron lo prometido.

UNA MENTIRA!!

Hace menos de un mes el director del Zoológico de Mendoza en Argentina, Gustavo Pronoto confirmo que al oso Arturo no le hicieron los análisis en el tiempo que se precisaba y por tal razón sumado a su edad no podía ir a Canadá, pero se comprometió a darle una mejor calidad de vida de acuerdo a las recomendaciones que dio la junta medica para tal fin, sin embargo esto no fue verdad.

Mediante un video subido a youtube por el grupo "Ecológicos Unidos" correspondiente al día domingo 23, se puede constatar la indiferencia y negligencia la que sigue siendo sometiendo el oso Arturo y a otros animales del cuestionado Zoológico, continuando con la política administrativa de maltrato animal de los últimos años.

NADA SE CUMPLIÓ

La junta médica, a inicios de este mes recomendó cambios necesarios para el recinto en el que habita Arturo, se tenia que agrandar el espacio donde duerme, agregar arena al lado de la pileta para que así el oso no pase directamente del cemento al agua y con respecto a la temperatura se indico la incorporación de un termómetro digital.

Mediante las imágenes se puede ver que el agua esta sucia y a bajo nivel, no tiene filtros, así como solo uno de los tres aires acondicionados estaba encendido sin el termómetro digital necesario.

NO SOLO ARTURO ES MALTRATADO

En otro de los videos se puede apreciar como los Elefantes del zoológico no contaban con agua, al ver tal situación un grupo de turistas le pidió a uno de los empleados el agua pero este se negó y dijo que más tarde abriría la canilla.

Las imágenes son elocuentes y dan la muestra del maltrato que se sigue aplicando ahora con la nueva administración del director Gustavo Pronoto al Oso Arturo y también a otros animales del zoológico de Mendoza.

Una vez más expresamos nuestra indignación y total repudio a los responsables directos que solo saben hacen proselitismo político aprovechándose de los temas mediáticos donde hay vidas en juego pero desatendiendo el pedido de miles de personas alrededor del mundo por una mejor condición de vida del oso Arturo y todos los animales del zoológico de Mendoza

His last cage mate died. No way to put another animal through this daily horrid living. His Poole would be twice as brown because they do not clean it often. This one needs more and more media attn the more we share the post and the more we tweet the more people around world become aware. Canada is supposedly going to train them in care but his zoo habitat is grossly wrong and it would take major donations for this zoo to change it appropriately. Truthfully they appear lazy and do not care for the animals as they should. They need to fill out Canada's required paperwork and stop the stall tactics saying their vets won't let him be transferred due to his health. He is dying daily already. They also did not examine him properly before coming to this decision. Plain fact they do not want to give him away. It is atrocious and sick and there will be a special place in Hell for the caretakers and ignorant officials who are turning a blind eye to the truth for the suffering and eventually the death of this polar bear. I am afraid seeing his most recent video I do think he will survive the next summer heat. This matter needs celebrity and world news and activists attn. PETA is involves now too but they often are fighting for animals that are so far gone or were already destroyed from neglect. So I fear they can't so enough alone. Putting the you tube video link out to public via Facebook and twitter and on specific pages of animal supporters is how we can do our part from our single existences of people that care about Arturo.
